Since 2002, children worldwide have successfully learned to read with Zac the Rat — and your child can too! Each section of the app focuses on a specific vowel sound and its corresponding spelling. Through a variety of engaging activities, movies, and songs, your child will have the opportunity to hear, touch, read, and ultimately master these sound-spellings. Encourage your child to freely play and explore! They will develop an understanding of the connection between spoken and written language while enjoying the process of learning to read. This app is particularly valuable for emerging readers and those learning English as a second language.
